The best weightlifting training program will improve your power, strength as well as your athletic ability. Whether you’re looking for a weightlifting training program for beginners or at competition level — we focus our efforts on taking your 1RM strength to the next level.
Who is the weightlifting program for?
For athletes who need a plan to prepare for weightlifting competitions and improve their 1RM in the Olympic lifts of the snatch and the clean and jerk. It’s also suitable for those in an off-season period.
Do I have to compete in weightlifting competitions?
No, but if your goal is competitive weightlifting, then your coach will help plan your training journey by selecting suitable competitions and peak you at the right time.
Are all weightlifting programs customised to my needs?
This only applies to those following the 1 on 1 customised plan. If that’s you — send us a video of your snatch, and clean and jerk for review. A weightlifting plan is designed to target specific phases of the lifts in need of development. After your videos are reviewed, you will receive your custom weightlifting program between 2-5 business days.
Training is set at 3-5 days a week, with the opportunity to add multiple sessions to specific days. Each session can span from one hour up to 90 minutes, with planning based on your lifestyle and how much time you have to commit to the program and your goals.
How do I start weightlifting?
Option #1
Visit our weightlifting plans and join the 1 on 1 customised program. Once we’ve received your interest we will get in touch with you to book your free consultation. This will involve discussing your current fitness level, goals and any limiting factors that may hinder your efforts to accomplish certain tasks and movements.
Once all the information is put together, a plan is created for you in monthly training cycles. Your program is sent within 2-5 business days and released on a weekly basis, at the start of each training week. If adjustments are recommended, they will be made before the release of the subsequent week.

What equipment do I need?
For weightlifting athletes, you must have access to a barbell and bumper plates — with a safe amount of space around the training area to drop weights. A platform is not necessary but advisable, as it will make it easier to slide your feet in catch positions and give you an indication of safe spacing.
How will I receive my weightlifting program and get feedback on my performance?
1 on 1 Custom Plan
Your weightlifting strength training program will be shared with you on Google Sheets. It will feature allocated cells to input your results and make any comments for review. You will have direct access to your coach and be in contact via text message and email so you can raise any questions and forward videos for evaluation. This ensures your technique is correct and you’re constantly progressing.
Template Plans
This option doesn’t include access to feedback on your performance. But, if you would like to ask anything relating to the program and specific movements you’re unsure about, you can contact info@dimistraining.com. We will email you back within 1-3 business days.
Am I locked into a contract?
No. The first month is a once-off payment, which allows you to try the product initially. If you wish to continue with the program, a direct debit system will be set up. This can be cancelled at any time before the next direct debit by emailing info@dimistraining.com.
